Summary
The story begins with the space yacht Nadine landing on an asteroid in search of food and water. It soon becomes apparent that the asteroid is uninhabited but inhabited by a variety of dangerous creatures, and Moran and his companions are attacked by a swarm of insects, one of whom is killed.
The crew decides to leave the asteroid, but is forced to make an emergency landing on a nearby planet, which is much more dangerous than the asteroid, and the crew is attacked by creatures. Moran is the only one left alive and he is stranded on a planet and must find a way to survive in this hostile world...
