클리포드 시맥(Clifford Donald Simak) 미국 공상 과학 작가다. 그는 휴고상 3개 , 네뷸라상 1개를 수상했다. 미국 SF 작가 협회 는 그를 세 번째 SFWA 그랜드 마스터 로 만들었고, 공포 작가 협회는 그를 평생 공로상 브램 스토커 상(Bram Stoker Award) 의 첫 번째 우승자 3명 중 한 명으로 만들었다. 그는 목회 공상 과학 하위 장르 와 관련이 있습니다.

In Simek's stories, it is often said that there is no time in the past that a time traveler can go to. Our world moves with the flow of time, and moving to another place in time is moving to another world. Thus, in the city, our planet is full of ants, but smart dogs and remaining humans escape to other worlds over time.
Simak's short stories and novels range from contemplative, thoughtful, and pastoral to pure horror. Simak published many inexplicable science fiction novels. Simak's characters encounter alien creatures and concepts they cannot and will never understand.
