" Let's Get Together " is a science fiction short story by American author Isaac Asimov. This work was originally published in the February 1957 issue of Infinity Science Fiction and was included in the collections The Rest of the Robots (1964) and The Complete Robot (1982). The robots in this story are very different from Asimov's standards and willingly operate as war machines. The story is also based on the continuation of Cold War hostility rather than the peaceful, unified world seen in most robot stories.

Summary
The Cold War has endured for a century and an uneasy peace between "Us" and "Them" exists. A secret agent arrives in America from Moscow with the story that robots identical to humans in appearance and behaviour have been developed by Them and that ten have already been infiltrated into America. When they get together, they will trigger a nuclear-level explosion (they are components of a total conversion bomb).
아이작 아시모프(Isaac)는 미국의 과학 소설가이자 저술가, 보스턴 대학교의 생화학 교수였다. 아시모프는 죽기 전까지 500권 이상의 책을 쓰고 다듬어 로버트 A. 하인라인, 아서 C. 클라크와 함께 SF계의 "삼대 거장"(Big Three)으로 간주된다. 9만여 개의 편지와 엽서를 쓰고 받기도 했는데, 과학소설뿐만 아니라 미스터리와 판타지 등의 장르의 소설도 썼다.
아시모프의 가장 유명한 작품은 《파운데이션 시리즈》로, 이 중 첫 세 권은 1966년에 "역대 최고의 시리즈"로 여겨지며 휴고상을 받았다. 그의 또 다른 대표적인 작품으로는 《은하 제국 시리즈》(Galactic Empire series)와 《로봇 시리즈》등이 꼽힌다. 은하 제국 시리즈는 파운데이션 시리즈와 같은 세계관의 과거 내용들을, 《파운데이션과 지구》(1986)와 로봇 시리즈로 파운데이션의 미래 내용을 담고 있다. 그 외에도 그는 화학, 천문학, 수학, 역사, 해석 글과 문학평론 등의 분야에서 380권이 넘는 책을 썼으며, 그는 폴 프렌치(Paul French)라는 필명으로 《럭키 스타 시리즈》(Lucky Starr series)를 쓰기도 하였다.

Isaac Asimov was an American science novelist, author, and professor of biochemistry at Boston University. Asimov wrote and edited more than 500 books before his death and is considered one of the "Big Three" of science fiction, along with Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clark. He wrote and received over 90,000 letters and postcards. He also wrote science fiction as well as novels in genres such as mystery and fantasy.
Asimov's most famous work is the Foundation Series, the first three volumes of which won a Hugo Award in 1966 and are considered "the best series of all time." His other representative works include the Galactic Empire series and the Robot series. The Galactic Empire series contains past content from the same worldview as the Foundation series, and the Foundation and Earth (1986) and the Robot series contain content from the future of Foundation. In addition, he wrote more than 380 books in the fields of chemistry, astronomy, mathematics, history, interpretive writing, and literary criticism.
