Ars amatoria(영어: The Art of Love)는 고대 로마 시인 Ovid가 쓴 세 권의 책으로 구성된 강의용 비가 시리즈다. 서기 2년에 쓰여졌다.
Ars amatoria의 1권은 남자에게 여자를 찾는 방법을 보여주기 위해, 2권에서 Ovid는 그녀를 지키는 방법을, 첫 번째 책이 출판된 지 2년 후에 쓰여진 세 번째 책은 남자의 사랑을 얻고 유지하는 방법에 대해 여성에게 조언을 제공한다.

Pūblius Ovidius Nāsō(기원전 43년 3월 20일 – 서기 17/18), 영어로는 Ovid(/ˈɒvɪd/ OV-id)로 알려져 있으며 로마의 시인으로 아우구스투스. 그는 나이든 베르길리우스와 호라티우스와 동시대 사람이었으며, 그들과 함께 라틴 문학의 3대 정경 시인 중 한 명으로 자주 꼽힌다. 제국의 학자 퀸틸리아누스는 그를 라틴 사랑의 비가가의 마지막 인물로 여겼다. 오비디우스는 생전에 엄청난 인기를 누렸지만 아우구스투스 황제는 그를 흑해의 외딴 지방으로 추방했고 그곳에서 죽을 때까지 10년 동안 머물렀다. 그는 Virgil과 Horace의 동시대 사람이었습니다. 그는 서사시 운율로 쓰여진 15권의 연속적인 신화 이야기인 변신(Metamorphoses)와 애가의 2행시, 특히 Amores("연애")와 Ars Amatoria("사랑의 예술")로 가장 잘 알려졌다.
Pūblius Ovidius Nāsō (20 March 43 BC – 17/18 AD), known in English as Ovid (/ˈɒvɪd/ OV-id), was a Roman poet named Augustus. He was a contemporary of the older Virgil and Horace, and is often regarded with them as one of the three canonical poets of Latin literature. The Imperial Scholar Quintillian considered him the last of the Latin Elegies of Love. Ovid enjoyed great popularity during his lifetime, but Emperor Augustus exiled him to a remote province on the Black Sea, where he remained for ten years until his death. He was a contemporary of Virgil and Horace. He is best known for his Metamorphoses, a series of mythological tales in 15 books written in epic rhyme, and for his elegiac two lines, particularly Amores ("Love") and Ars Amatoria ("The Art of Love").
